DoEmploy Payroll & Attendance

Privacy Policy

Effective 14 August 2026

1. Scope and who is responsible

This Privacy Policy applies to the DoEmploy Payroll & Attendance mobile application, its related services and the DoEmploy Payroll pages on domesticemployment.com (together, the “Service”). It does not apply to WorkLedger or DoEmploy Marketplace, which publish separate privacy notices on their own domains.

Domestic Employment Ltd, of 1 HaShaldag Street, Elyachin 3890800, State of Israel, is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. You can contact us at [email protected].

Employer workspaces. When an employer or business enters employee information, that organisation may separately control how it uses the information for employment purposes. Employees should contact their employer about the accuracy or employment use of those records; Domestic Employment remains responsible for operating the Service securely and handling requests that concern our own processing.

2. Information we handle

Information you or an account administrator provides

  • Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, account role, login details and support communications.
  • Employer and business details: organisation name, address, logo, contact details and payroll settings.
  • Employee and employment records: identity and contact details, address, employee identifiers, employment dates, compensation, deductions, allowances, benefits, tax selections and other information entered for payroll administration.
  • Attendance and leave: shifts, clock-in and clock-out events, hours, overtime, absences, holidays, leave and notes. If an enabled clock-in feature uses device location, precise or approximate location may be recorded with the event after the device permission is granted.
  • Documents and user content: uploaded employment documents, images, generated pay stubs, reports, notes and other files chosen by users.
  • Purchase information: subscription status, product identifier, transaction reference and purchase validation data. App stores process full payment-card details; we do not receive them.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, device or installation identifiers and network information.
  • Usage and diagnostics: feature interactions, session events, crash reports, performance data and error logs used to keep the Service reliable and understand how it is used.
  • Security information: authentication events, suspected abuse signals and records needed to protect accounts and the Service.

3. Why we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create accounts, authenticate users and provide the Service;
  • store employment inputs and generate payroll, attendance and related records;
  • manage subscriptions and confirm purchase entitlements;
  • provide support and respond to requests;
  • send service, security and account notices;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, analyse and improve performance and usability;
  • detect, investigate and prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents;
  • comply with law and enforce our agreements; and
  • send marketing only where permitted and with any consent required by law.

4. Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service; compliance with legal obligations; and consent, including for optional device permissions or marketing where required. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already occurred lawfully.

5. When information is shared

We may share information with:

  • People in the same workspace: employers, administrators and invited employees according to their roles and the sharing features used.
  • Service providers: vendors that provide cloud hosting, databases, file storage, authentication, notifications, analytics, crash diagnostics, customer support and security. These providers process information under contract for the purposes of operating the Service.
  • App stores and platform providers: Google Play, Apple’s App Store and device-platform services for distribution, purchase processing, subscription validation, analytics, diagnostics and fraud prevention.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: where needed for legal advice, audit, compliance, protection of rights or a valid legal request.
  • Business transactions: a buyer, investor or successor in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganisation or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use employee payroll records for third-party targeted advertising.

6. International transfers

We are based in Israel and use service providers that may process data in Israel, the European Economic Area, the United States and other countries. Privacy laws differ between countries. Where required, we use recognised transfer mechanisms and contractual, organisational or technical safeguards designed to protect transferred information.

7. How long information is kept

We keep account and employment information while the account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service. After an account deletion request is verified, we delete or de-identify active account data without undue delay, subject to information that must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or dispute purposes.

Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups and are removed as those backups rotate under our standard retention schedule. We may keep de-identified statistics that can no longer reasonably be linked to an individual.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access or receive a copy of personal information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete personal information;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • receive information in a portable format; and
  • complain to a data-protection authority.

You can change app permissions in your device settings and unsubscribe from marketing using the link in the message. Essential account, security and service notices cannot be opted out of while the account remains active.

To exercise a privacy right, email [email protected]. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting. If an employee asks us to change records controlled by their employer, we may direct the request to that employer.

9. Account deletion

Instructions for requesting account and data deletion are available on our account deletion page. Deleting the app from a device does not delete the account, and deleting an account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transmission and monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials, controlling workspace access and keeping devices secure.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children and may be used only by people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. The corporate website

The public domesticemployment.com website does not use advertising trackers or a marketing cookie banner at launch. Like most hosted websites, its infrastructure may process basic server logs such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested page for security and delivery. If we add analytics or other optional tracking, we will update this Policy and provide any choices required by law.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our practices, technology or legal obligations change. We will publish the new version with an updated effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice through the Service or by email where appropriate.
